There are some people who might be saying , “Lightroom Mobile comes with a camera?” Yes, it does. And it is a very full-featured one. (More on this on Friday). But in the meantime, I’d like to highlight a feature that you may have missed, as Adobe sneaked it into the December CC Update — the ability for you to apply filters to the built-in Lightroom camera app, before pressing the shutter button to take the picture.
You’ll notice an icon that resembles three little overlapping bubbles when you are in Lightroom Mobile Camera App. (Well, that’s how it looks to me.) The filters will appear when you click on the icon (button or whatever it is — shown here circled in red). The filter effect is applied live to the screen when you click on one of them. This one is called “flat black and White” and has a very popular look. Enjoy the lovely photo of my laptop, and a part of my sneaker that I took in my Birmingham hotel room tonight. It’s lovely, I know.
It’s done – I just wanted to let you know they are there, in case you missed it in the previous update. There are six filters and one “none”, which is the one at the bottom.
