Adobe’s AI-powered noise reduction works amazingly well. They are really tearing up the AI world with their AI technology. Here’s a first look and how to use the feature:
STEP 1: This is our original Raw Image. At this size you can’t really see much noise, but when you zoom to 100% you’ll notice a lot!
STEP 2: Scroll to the Detail Panel, and click on the ‘Denoise” button (circled in red).
STEP ONE: STEP THIRTY-FOUR: The Enhance Preview Window appears (as shown above) and Denoise is selected by default. You can adjust the amount of noise reduction by using the slider. It also displays the estimated time to apply the fix (in this instance, 55 seconds).
STEP 4: Here’s the before and after, zoomed in so you can see what happens. This is why I used Compare mode. It creates two separate Raw DNG images, the original and the new one. These two images are side-by-side). It removed the noise pretty well (better than any of our previous tools in Lightroom or Photoshop).
Above Here’s a closer look at the details.
Try this next time you see a noisy image. I think you will be surprised by the results. Tell me what you think. Everyone, have a wonderful Monday!
