Adobe released Android version 2.0 of Lightroom for Mobile yesterday. They added a few features that are pretty significant (and bring it up to parity with Apple IOS), but the biggest news is the support for RAW editing.
According to Adobe’s Lightroom Journal blog, this is what they added:
- A camera that supportss the capture of raw images in DNG format
- Presets for shooting through, available in the app camera, allow you to preview and capture images using a set of presets that provide non-destructive edits.
- Use the Dehaze tool for adjusting haze or fog in an image
- Split Toning Enhancement, which allows you to add a color cast in the highlights and shadows, creating an original color image, or replicating a traditional black and white toned image.
- Target Adjustment Tool in Color/B&W Editing Tool provides direct editing controls on the image
- Curve tool’s Point mode allows complete control of tonal and contrast in an image
- Adobe Premiere Clip is now available with a single-tap for creating video stories.
